The gently used clothing and household items received by GIENC® are used to help put people to work in our 36 GCF Donation Centers & Stores® throughout eastern North Carolina. Your gently used clothing and household items begin their work the minute they arrive at the GCF Donation Center & Store®. GIENC® translates the value of your gently used clothing and household items into wages, benefits and work environments.
How We Used Our Resources in 2012:
Employment – GIENC® provided employment opportunities to 593 people through its 36 GCF Donation Centers & Stores serving 16 counties located throughout eastern North Carolina in 2012.
Education – GIENC® provided free online curriculum to over 4.7 million people, enabling them to acquire the needed English, math, and technology skills required for life success.
